Robert A. Keatch is a graduate of the Australian Army School of Music in Melbourne, Victoria, and Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia. He has extensive experience as a professional performer and teacher
of beginner and advanced instrumental music students throughout Australia. 

Keatch has identified the need for 100 EASY TUNES and 10 EASY DUETS to provide opportunities for beginners to establish "melodic playing", including memorization of some standard items and for experienced musicians to switch to other instruments and try different clefs. These tunes complement standard tutor books and provide for mixed instrumentalists to play together. There are 11 books in this series for differently pitched instruments to play together in unison/octave.
